PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner course enables you to benefit from PRINCE2 Agile’s guidance on delivering, managing and working within agile projects and project teams, without the need for any prior knowledge of PRINCE2®. To pass the Foundation exam, you will need to demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the PRINCE2 Agile project management method; whereas the Practitioner exam will assess your ability to apply this understanding of the method in context.

WHAT IS VIRTUAL TRAINING?

Instructor-led training combines the personal teaching experience of a classroom, with the ease and flexibility of a virtual environment. Our virtual courses are interactive and engaging, allowing participants to communicate with both the instructor and each other in a collaborative manner. 

DURATION

This is an intensive five-day course that prepares you for the Foundation & Practitioner examinations. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. 

PRE-REQUISITES

There are no formal pre-requisites for taking the Foundation exam.

In order to take the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam, a candidate must hold any of the following certifications:

  • PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)®
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
  • IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
  • IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Understand key concepts relating to PRINCE2
  • Understand key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2 Agile
  • Understand how PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products are tailored and/or applied in an agile context
  • Understand the agile ways of working, key terms and techniques
  • Understand the focus areas in an agile context
  • Build on the basic concepts of agile ways of working within PRINCE2
  • Practise blending PRINCE2 and the agile way of working
  • Be able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context
  • Be able to apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context

Online pre-course

This is an intensive course that requires you to complete mandatory pre-course studies. Study material must be sent out 1 to 2 weeks prior to an event.

You will also be required to complete some evening work during the virtual classroom event.

HOW YOU TAKE YOUR EXAM

The exam is taken online via remote proctor. You will be able to book a suitable time after your virtual classroom event has finished to undertake your exam

  • Note: You are responsible for booking your own exam. You must pass Foundation prior to taking the Practitioner examination.

EXAM FORMAT

The format of the Foundation exam is as follows:

  • 60 minutes
  • Multiple-choice
  • 50 questions, each worth one mark
  • 28 marks or more, out of 50 questions, required to pass – 55% pass mark
  • Closed book

The format of the Practitioner exam is as follows:

  • Objective testing
  • 50 questions, each worth one mark
  • 30 marks or more, out of 50 questions, required to pass – 60% pass mark
  • Two-and-a-half hours’ (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time
  • Open book exam (official PRINCE2 Agile guide only)
